Our plan
A New, Modern Fire Station for Vadnais Heights
Built for Today's Needs and Tomorrow's Growth
The City of Vadnais Heights is planning to invest in a new South Fire Station — a modern, purpose-built facility designed to support how the fire department operates today and meet the community's public safety needs for decades to come. The plan is the result of more than three years of careful study by the City Council, fire department leaders, city staff and professional architects and engineers.
A new station would be designed around the department's duty crew model to meet current standards and serve the community for 50 years or more.
Primary apparatus and equipment under one roof
Apparatus bays sized for modern fire equipment
Decontamination areas to protect firefighter health
Distinct living areas and recovery spaces
Training facility and room for future expansion
